Dieses Ehrenmal hat die Gemeinde Lilienfeld
in Dankbarkeit ihrem Ehrenbürger Zdarsky
im Jahre 1965 unter dem Bürgermeister
Sepp Ganner auf Anregung des Zdarsky-
Biographen Dr. Erwin Mehl errichtet.

Die Arbeiten wurden vom Zdarsky-
Denkmal-Ausschuß im Schiklub Lilienfeld
(Obmann Ing. Fritz v. Neuman) geleitet.

Tatkräftig unterstützt wurde das Werk
durch das Unterrichtsministerium, das
Land Niederösterreich, das Stift Lilien-
feld und die Zdarsly-Gesellschaft. Die
Sparkasse Lilienfeld stiftete die Anlage.

Entwurf und Ausführung: Akademische
Bildhauerin Iris Hahnl-Faerber.
